Greater Than Yourself
Last year Michael and I decided against renewing our lease in El Dorado Hills Town Center. The space we'd been leasing had leaked for five years: which is devastating to an art gallery. We'd had over $50,000 in losses due to what politically correct types call "water intrusion issues". As for me, losses of that magnitude are FLOODS – especially when your perspective is that of a small Independent. Michael and I affectionately referred to them as “The floods of 2002, 3, 4, 5, & 6”. You get the picture. Moving right along to the positive part of this story - we decided to move to "dry land". You know - like “Fievel” in the Disney Classic, "An American Tail". Our journey into a new land began with a visit from We watched as Vinal's vision (and our future) began to manifest into the fabulous architecture you see today. I remember the exact day we committed to the move and the rainbow that appeared over Montaño an hour later. I was able to capture a bit of it with my camera. If Michael and I had any doubts about the move at that point, the rainbow certainly cleared them up. Now quite some time later, we stand in awe in front of this FABULOUS new retail center KNOWING it's a dream come true for MANY individuals. If you haven’t been up to Montaño yet - GO! Look for the waterfall at the corner of Latrobe and White Rock Road, and then follow the aroma of Peet’s Coffee up the hill. Or, simply move forward (like Michael and I do) until it FEELS so good you think you might BUST. When that happens, it's our guess you'll be up at Montaño, standing on top of that hill I was telling you about, enjoying the lights of our community. While you're up there, please be sure to come on over to Our house. Chances are, we'll be home and waiting for you. Michael and I anticipate completing our build out in November. If you'd like to get an invite to the Grand Opening – email a request. We’d love to celebrate the future with you.
